Our vision is to become the standard for youth anger management and character development programs, impacting hundreds of thousands of students across the United States through in-person sessions, digital courses, and innovative VR mentorship platforms.

Operations Overview

Mentoring with the Mentees offers a structured set of services designed to meet youth, families, and organizations where they are. Our operations include local mentorship, virtual support, and professional speaking engagements, ensuring accessibility and impact at every level.

1. Local Mentorship

Structure: Sessions held three times per week at recreation centers and schools.

Format: Each session is two hours and includes meals/snacks, group activities, scenario-based teaching, and family engagement.

Focus Areas: Anger management, emotional intelligence, character development, leadership training, and academic/life skills support.

Accessibility: Services are billable through Medicaid, removing barriers for families while ensuring sustainability.

2. One-Time Virtual 1-on-1 Private Sessions

Designed for students, parents, or professionals needing immediate support in areas such as emotional awareness, conflict resolution, or program development. Delivered via secure video platform.

Provides targeted guidance, actionable strategies, and personalized mentorship from Mike Mathis.

3. Monthly Virtual 1-on-1 Private Sessions

Ongoing mentorship and accountability for individuals seeking consistent growth.

Includes weekly check-ins, customized challenges, and emotional/behavioral tools.

Ideal for parents seeking consistent guidance for their teens, or professionals building mentorship programs.

4. Book Mike Mathis for Speaking Engagements

Style: High-energy, interactive, and deeply authentic. Mike engages audiences through storytelling, scenario-based teaching, and motivational delivery.

Formats: Keynotes, workshops, parent sessions, educator trainings, and youth assemblies.

Customization: Each presentation is tailored to the needs of the host organization.

Compensation: Speaking fees are structured based on context, audience size, and duration. For out-of-town events, travel and hotel accommodations are not included in the speaking fee.
